Following the successful Island Records UK EP release, Island inexplicably left the band to fend for themselves back in Los Angeles. Enter the publishing company that allowed access to world class studios for recording, and the band created their next album on their own. The Prime Movers started on their own label, Birdcage Records, and they continued that way despite Island dropping the ball.

Included here is the Island UK single release "Dark Western Night," featuring a rare guest appearance by Stuart Adamson of Big Country on EBow guitar.
